Welcome to CMSE 2026!

The 15th Global Conference on Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE 2026) will be held on November 20-23, 2026 at City University of Macau, Macao, China.

Launched in 2012, the CMSE conference has successfully convened 14 editions worldwide. The conference's recent gatherings were held in Xi'an (2025), Kampar (Malaysia, 2024), Shenzhen (2023), and online (2020–2022), alongside earlier editions in Sanya, Beijing, Taiwan, Macao, Shanghai, etc. Over the years, the conference has drawn more than 2,000 researchers, scientists, and scholars globally. It has evolved into a premier academic platform in materials science, facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge innovations, the exploration of frontier directions, and the cultivation of long-term collaborative partnerships among participants.

Macao is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China. Located on the southeast coast of China, it borders Guangdong Province to the north, and lies about 60 kilometers southwest of Hong Kong. With a history of over 400 years of cultural exchange, Macao is home to the Historic Centre of Macao (UNESCO World Heritage) —an unparalleled ensemble of well-preserved Chinese and Portuguese architectural heritage, which provides a unique testimony to the meeting of aesthetic, cultural, architectural and technological influences from East and West.

Publication Guidelinesmore

Unpublished and original papers are encouraged to submit via Online Submission System. All submitted full papers will go through the peer review process and acceptance will depend on the quality, originality, language and relevance.

1. Accepted full papers will be published in CMSE 2026 conference proceedings in Springer book series: Springer Proceedings in Materials. This book series is indexed in SCOPUS and EI Compendex database.
2. Selected full papers based on scope and peer review results will get published in international Journals. Some of the journals are listed as below:

News

1. Organized by Northwestern Polytechnical University, CMSE 2025 has successfully concluded on October 19, 2025. The conference brought together about 90 participants from 17 countries and regions, fostering a vibrant international exchange. Six distinguished professors delivered insightful keynote speeches focusing on advanced materials, emerging technologies and practical applications. 45 oral presentations and 20 posters were presented, showcasing the latest research outcomes and state-of-the-art technologies across various domains of materials science and engineering. During the closing session, four best oral presentations and two best posters were selected in recognition of outstanding contributions. 【23-10-2025】
